Watching this episode was taxing, as I have just reconfigured my entertainment doodads with digital converter thingys. This means that I can no longer watch what I'm not recording. Like when cable first started, remember? Oh, who the fuck am I kidding, there's like two of you out there who remember that. Anyhow, it's going to take some getting used to.

But I has thoughts! Thoughts on this episode, whatever it's name was. Something with "Gray." Was it "Gray's Anatomy?" "Shades of Gray?" "Touch of Gray?" SOMETHING!!! But clicky for thoughts, mkay?

Sooooo… )

Oh, and I like bunnies. The End.

*sigh*

So I realize I never did an episode 8 recap, and the reason is simple: it didn't deserve one. Not nearly. Now, as opposed to most, I actually did enjoy ep 9 (well, most of it), but I've had trouble motivating myself to write a recap. And, actually, I'm not really going to. Instead, I'm just going to post a few of my reactions to it, which is what most of the rest of you do, anyhow. And I figure I should probably do this sometime in the next 4 hours, so here we go:

This episode title is far too lame for me to make a terrible pun about. )

Now, I'm not sure if I'll be watching this week's ep live, since there's a Bulls game on TV and I'm quite interested in watching Derrick Rose's progression (the rest of the team blows). Plus, without cable, I can only see so many of these games. But IDK, we'll just have to see.

Okay, so last week I was triumphantly successful in shortening my recap, posting it early, and making it less boring. Yay me! This week, I hope to continue this trend, so as to be more user friendly. And I actually liked this episode a bunch. I mean, it felt like a real Heroes ep, if you know what I mean. Things are happening, people and storylines are coming together, and I’m somewhat encouraged.

I cannot speak Latin, so there is no witty joke this week …does anyone even read these anymore? )

So next week is an off week. Enjoy the not funny political sketches that SNL has planned. I’ll most likely be enjoying myself some hot Robot!Glau action. So we’ll meet back here in two weeks, mkay? Mkay.

You may have noticed…

…I never posted a recap for last week's episode. Nor do I intend to. It's not that I didn't like the episode—it was okay—I just wasn't up to devoting an entire recap to it. I mean, it wasn't my favorite episode in the history of the world, but I think it was necessary for pushing the plot forward.

This way for a BRIEF (I promise) summation of my thoughts on 'Angels and Monsters.' )

Expect a full recap for tonight's episode, up later on in the week unless it sucks and I don't feel like it. We now return you to your regularly scheduled LJ.

This episode was pure, manufactured magnificence. I have only one tiny, tiny complaint about it. Of course, this will not prevent me from mocking the rest of it to my heart’s content. That’s just what I do.

‘Present, 1st-person singular of BE,’ NOT ‘used as an auxiliary with the past participle in order to form the past perfect, present perfect, or future perfect’—The Mirriam-Webster Dictionary, 1997. )

And with 88 whole minutes to spare!

HA! I’ve finished the episode three recap and am officially back on track! Many of you mocked me under your breaths for being so late and lazy. But I have come through and if I didn’t, I shall once again blame it on the fact that my White Sox keep inexplicably winning, forcing my continued attention. But I have an entire afternoon before the game starts, so let’s see if we can’t just get this done.

Hmm… I usually try to include some sort of witty comment about the episode title as the cut text. But this title is not allowing me to do that. Let’s just move on, shall we? )

Yeah, yeah, it's not Wednesday, I know.

But see, my baseball team decided to surprise me and make the playoffs. Even though we're certain to get swept out of the ALDS, this still takes precedence over writing recaps. But first pitch isn't for another *checks watch* hour and three minutes, so I had a little time to finish this up today. And tomorrow is a travel day, so I'll probably be able to do episode 3 then. But first…

This works really well with chicken breasts or pork tenderloins. It cuts down on the amount of time spent making dinner and ensures a more evenly cooked piece of meat. Yum. )

Okay, so it’s little tardy. I was trying to do both “Second Coming” and “The Butterfly Effect” before the third ep aired. But clearly, I didn’t. I’d also planned on putting them each in the same post, under different cuts—but that’s now out the window, as well. But whatever, two episodes in one week is a bit more than I can handle. Seriously, one of these things takes me between four and seven hours to finish. And I just don’t have that much time in my week. Okay, so that part was a lie, but I do have other things I should be doing.

…of what, exactly? Is it a religious reference? Is it secretly dirty? I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE TITLE!!! )

Now, I’m nearly done with “The Butterfly Effect,” so expect that one up fairly soon. Well, tomorrow, most likely. And the new one should follow that pretty quickly, as well. But, for now, I hope this will tide you over. Even if you’ve all moved on by now.
